I had a pretty awful experience with Claudia. My mother recently passed away. Left no will. I was recommended by a realtor friend of mine that she Claudia would be able to help with us getting the paperwork that we need in order to take over my mother's house in order to sell it. She didn't make sure we had everything needed. We in the long run were under the assumption that she would get the paperwork drawn up and filed for us. She and her assistant were not consistent on communication. Whenever we got the paperwork drawn up and signed by who we needed to be signed, we try to file with the county clerks office and they were confused because that's not what that type of documentation was supposed to look like and I was pretty upset because we spent quite a bit of money to have this one piece of paper drafted and it wasn't even done correctly. Claudia kept blaming her paralegals that worked in different states for anything that went wrong. I eventually saw that she had charged me for filing fees when she blatantly told me that she was not going to be filing for me because she charged me a low fee of $400 and something dollars. It was a slap in the face due to the delicate situation that I was having to deal with my mother's passing and having to no idea what to do with her estate. My family was very frustrated and disappointed with the lack of professionalism that Claudia gave us. At the very end of it, the paperwork that she drawn up for me was not even paperwork that was going to help me take over my mothers estate at all. Since then, I will not be going to any lawyers. I've been doing my own legal aid for myself. I've had such a bad experience. I personally don't recommend this law office.

My husband and I hired Claudia to help with a custody case which she sounded like she could handle at the beginning, then after her dealing with Cory Clements who she said she can't stand to deal with everything seemed to change. All of a sudden she was trying to force my husband to sign an AWFUL custody agreement. She got mad that he wouldn't sign it. She also never stuck up for him in the case like she should have as his attorney. Towards the end when they had mediation we ended up making the choice to find a new attorney after wasting money on such an awful experience. She was angry about that and when my husband requested the rest of his money back all of a sudden there was only $35 left after she told him Mediation was $600 she ended up charging him $1600. She said it was because it went the " full time " which the $600 quote was for the entire mediation. This place is a scam along with most of the Abilene attorneys it seems like! Find a good attorney in Dallas and don't waste your time here.

Wasted $3000 to have Claudia Clinton make deals with the other party without consulting me (her client) first. This woman doesn't fight for you. I hired her to help keep and maintain custody of my children. I was being bullied by my children's father and his attorney. I spent everything I had in my savings as a single mother. I had my 3 children living with me with no help. By the end of this ordeal I was left broke and lost custody of all 3 of my children. I was also told by Ms Clinton that the physical abuse my ex husband put me through our whole marriage was ' a long time ago'. I lost everything hiring this women. Do not hire her. If you are soft spoken she will walk all over you.

I was having issues with my divorce attorney and was guided by an individual to come talk with Claudia. I paid a consultation fee to talk to her. We had discussed the overall cost of her services. A few days later, after giving it consideration, I called her office. The assistant got back with me but the cost had gone up. I refuted the price discrepancy with the assistant and was informed that she would talk with Claudia and would get back with me. Later, I had received a return call and was informed that Claudia had decided not to take my case and advised me to seek out another attorney that could help me. Because of the bait and switch tactic about cost. I don't believe that I could trust an attorney that does something like this. Makes me think of what else could I not trust about what would be said up front, then do in my case once hired to be my attorney. At least I only lost $75 but it's still $75 less than what I had before I spoke with her.

Claudia has been amazing and has helped me tremendously. Without her assistance I wouldn't have known what to do in regards to visitation and other complex divorce related issues. My divorce has been super messy and Claudia has been patient and understanding. Claudia's office staff is the VERY best. I can't thank them enough.
