AMAZING experience with Bethany Walker. We've all heard divorce horror stories. Bethany was exceptionally successful in making mine as far from horrific as possible. Divorce can be a very difficult life event on so many fronts; emotional, financial, mental, etc. Bethany took the time to really get to know not only my situation, but also me. She kept me informed of what was currently happening, and took things a step further by providing insight regarding what to expect throughout the process as it moved forward. Bethany would take the time, every time, to listen to me. She provided relevant experience and multiple options to consider with each conversation and brainstorming session. Communication was also spot on. I could not have asked for anything more. I think anyone who has been through a divorce would say they never want to go through another. The same is true for me. However, if I ever find myself in this predicament again, I will be able to quickly bypass the search for an attorney. I would immediate seek out her services again, without question. DO NOT GIVE THIS SO CALLED ATTORNEY YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING HER AS YOUR ATTORNEY PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS!! I tried to speak to Bethany multiple times, in a professional way, about how her inexperience, fear of the judge, poor communication, and overall dismissal of me, as her client, has placed me in a very bad position in multiple ways. I asked for her to see the errors and failures she made and asked for a partial refund of the nearly $8,000 I had paid her, which essentially resulted in a case that has yet to see any resolution nearly 2 years after I first retained her. She refused to work with me in any way and told me she does not feel a refund is warranted in any way. I realize why she insisted on so many phone calls, versus replying to my inquiries via text... she wanted to avoid a paper trail that could be used against her. Once I retained a new attorney, I was told that my previous counsel had mishandled this case so badly that it is very unlikely that much can be done to "fix" her mess. I am still left dealing with the repercussions and trying to sort out the mess she created. I am filing a formal complaint against her to the Board of Professional Responsibility to hopefully prevent someone else from experiencing anything like I have experienced. If she tries to respond to this and say I too have never been her client I will gladly provide emails and documents as proof.
