He told me I didn't have to show up for court I went anyway because I didn't trust him and he didn't show up. He only says what the other lawyer says he acts like he was working against me, do not hire him it took 3 years to pay him to loose. I asked for documentation to show the hours I was paying for he didn't give me anything. I went to my case on line out of 3 years he only submitted something to the court 3 times.

Do not hire this attorney...he do not return calls, he is unethical, unprofessional and untrustworthy. I hired him in a divorce case and he did not return calls, when he did he was stand offish and made me feel like he was doing me a favor in taking my money. I only got one invoice from Mr Kern, I've asked him for invoices several times. Late April I finally got an invoice and a check for $125. I gave this man $1500!! He was supposed to invoice me anytime he did work; or was going to do work on my case and I was to replenish the retainer fee accordingly. Instead he sent me a final bill after ~11 months working with me. The final bill was $1375. I was floored, I called Mr Kern several times to get an understanding of the charges and he has not returned any of my repeated phone calls to him. Mr Kern left me no alternative except to file a complaint with the Board of Professional Responsibility and to write this review. I hope this note prevents anyone else from being subjected to his unethical, unprofessional and trustworthy practices.
