I came to Mr. Hickman at one of the absolute lowest points of my life, feeling lost and overwhelmed. From the moment the consultation began, he was professional, direct, and without hesitation, instantly outlining a clear plan. In 2022, Mr. Hickman did a POA for my mother. My mother has now been diagnosed with dementia. I sent said POA to her mortgage company, and they denied it. I took the denial letter they sent to Mike's office and left it with the front desk as Mike was in court. I stopped in a few days later to see if he had any information for me. He was in court, but the gentleman at the front desk told me to wait, that he was due back anytime. In about 10 minutes, he came into the office. The gentleman at the front desk went to ask him if he had any information for me. Mike came down the hall to the front office and proceeded to tell me that he had drawn up many POA's and they had never been rejected and there was nothing he could do for me. Then he proceeded to try to humiliate me for not making an appointment to see him. Maybe when I stopped in earlier in the week, his staff could have told me that! Then the gentleman from the front desk sit there and never said a word to Mike about telling me to wait a few minutes for him to get back. I have never been treated with such disrespect! I don't know if he had a bad day in court, but that's no reason to treat me the way he did! I wouldn't recommend anyone using his services for anything, unless you like being treated like you're beneath him, because that's definitely how I felt he treated me! I am editing this review. Mike called me back on Monday morning and apologized for his behavior. After seeing the above review, when he realized that his front office person (who has only worked there for two weeks) had told me to wait for him, he wanted to make things right, and he did. I really appreciate that and wanted to give him a better review. Mike is a big man, but it takes an even bigger man to admit when they made a mistake. Thanks so much Mike!!

Mike Hickman is the best Attorney I could have chosen. He's very good at what he does. He took care of my case from the second I contacted him. Without a doubt, I would definitely choose him again!

If I were able to give Mike a 10/10 I would. He took on my case last minute, rearranging his own schedule to help me. He listened to me thoroughly and he took over from that point forward. This attorney knows the law. He is witty and firm and most importantly he supports and fights for his clients aggressively. He communicates effectively with his clients keeping them in the loop.
