Mayes Law Firm has went above and beyond for my clients over and over again. Brett has always treated my clients with the utmost respect and treated their real estate transactions as if they were his own. My father was very ill with severe dementia. He wasn't able to make decisions for himself and do basic things like pay bills or drive. I had to pursue a conservatorship for Daddy because his POA from years ago wasn't done correctly. It was such an emotionally hard thing to do, but a very necessary task in order to communicate with doctors and banks on my dad's behalf. Brett and team were amazing. Many attorneys don't want to take on conservatorship cases because they aren't big money makers and often seen as a "waste of time." However, Brett agreed to take on this case and see it through. It was easy and seamless. They were great to work with me logistically since I lived 5 hours away from JC. I was able to moved my parents very close to me and provide care for them until their last breath. They never entered a nursing home or memory care unit. They passed away peacefully with family by their side. It's been a stressful several years, but as I have reflected on the journey, I wanted to reach out to those who were angels along the way. Those who helped cut through systemic red tape and allowed me to just to the right thing by taking care of my elderly parents (all while managing a job and raising my own children). Brett and team (along with many others in different capacities) played a key part on the journey, and I will never forget their kindness.
