DO NOT HIRE HER!!! Represent yourself, you'll be better off. Worst attorney I've ever had and have proof she lied to me on multiple occasions and will be turning her into the Board of Professional Responsibility. No contact, no plan, just a relay of information. Never fought for me, never made any situations better. My ex took my kids during my time for Fall Break and Marlene did nothing. No legal assistant, no command presence in the court room, and appears flustered when asked relevant questions. If you go to court and the other person has hired her, you can relax.

I didn't realize how bad it had gotten until I switched. She was not responsive and it took her over a month to get me my bill. I asked for a MONTH. Then when I got it, it was sky high with absolutely nothing positive done to my case. I had heard she had been good in the past but had basically gotten too big for her britches.

Please do not hire her if you're looking for someone to fight for your case. This person neglected me in the worse way while I was battling cancer. She failed to return calls in a timely manner, ignored my emails, wasn't prepared to fight when the time was crucial and let me down on all angles. I could have represented myself and did better. Please please do you research!

No follow ups etc. is a huge issue, no communication on what's going on with case. She seems to be a great attorney and knowledgeable but over the years has maybe got burnt out or something. Have had my dads divorce stretched out over 2 years ,fees paid in the beginning and still don't know why divorce isn't finalized and it's going on 3 years. Had no kids, property, etc. involved and still nothing. Definitely bad business. Fix your issues and do better for clients without excuses or do not take anymore clients would be the professional thing to do. Then when confronted she no longer wants to work with me as I had been the one helping my dad through his divorce the whole time but after telling her about herself she declined speaking to me any further in assisting him. Needs to learn to take responsibility for actions. Thanks!
