Failure to Perfom I paid a retainer with the expectation that a cease-and-desist letter would be drafted and mailed using certified return receipt. Despite this, there was no evidence that any action was taken beyond receiving a letter from the firm advising me to contact them if I encountered any problems. They failed to send anything certified or with return receipt as promised. Despite the firm repeatedly dropping the ball, I returned, though I cannot explain why other than their apology for previous mistakes. After nearly a month and paying a second retainer for another case, I still had nothing to show for my efforts. Ultimately, I decided to approach a different law firm. Within one day, they had my conservatorship paperwork drafted and ready for submission, demonstrating a stark contrast in responsiveness and professionalism. Had it not been for the Partner, I probably would have never heard from the assigned lawyer N. W. . The public must demand better service and not settle for service that is subpar.

Update: I signed the contract with Goble & Yow. Contrary to what Mr. Yow says in his response, the attorney did belong to the firm when I had this terrible experience. And after she left, no one at Goble & Yow took over my case. Mr. Yow insists that he is not responsible for the conduct of the attorney who worked at his firm. I am disappointed but not surprised. One of the junior-level attorneys took my case, saying she wanted to help people. After signing the contract, she told me shd could not find the mailing address of the contractor who owed me 40k. I did a quick search on Google to find their contact information and sent it to her. The case was filed, but she didn't do anything but wait and see. She eventually quit the firm, saying the contract was terminated because no one wanted to take over my case. At the initial consultation, I told her to tell me how to file the case on my own and represent myself so that she wouldn't have to work too many hours for a civil case. She insisted she did want to take my case because, she repeated again and again, she wanted to help me. She just wasted my time.

I'm happy to share my experience I had with this law firm. My lawyer(Mr. Cox), was the most professional and competent lawyer I've ever had represent me. He was able to handle my case in its entirety in a timely manner. I have never had a more pleasant experience with a law firm EVER!!!!. For any reason I may ever need a lawyer it will be Goble&Yow that I choose and I will definitely be referring them to friends and family. I cannot thank you guys enough for what you've done on my behalf. You guys are wonderful people and even better attorneys. Thank you!!!!!!!!
