If I could give them a less than 1 as a review i would. First off, I have bought and sold several properties in SC with no issues or hiccups until using Hand Law Firm. They have repeatedly filed incorrect information on title and deed paperwork. I mean seriously that is their job!!!They should know how to verify information prior to recording PERMENANT records that will FOREVER hold incorrect information.. I pay them OVER $1k to be legal reps and they cant do their job correctly?! I highly suggest another legal team for you closings. The day of closing I still did not have my closing documents, nor did I have ANY information on closing costs and had to wait over 2 hrs during my closing before I could proceed. Not to mention, closing had to be postponed 3 days due to "clerical errors." I will NEVER use them again nor will I suggest them to be used by anyone.

I've used them twice for closings. First time in 2019 was wonderful...I was on the buying side. Now (2025) Hand Law Firm represented me (sellers side), and it has been a nightmare. Things were forgotten until day of closing. Payments weren't handled in a timely manner, and I'm still waiting for the rest of my funds to be wired from the sale...5 days after closing. It's really derailed the process with buying our new home. I wouldn't use them again.

Hand Law is by far a favorite attorney of ours to close with! Having worked with them on multiple files as a mortgage broker, and finally using them for my own home refinance, I can truly say this law firm is awesome. Joe and Crissie do incredible jobs, and we absolutely love working with them!
