Hands down, the best employment attorney in Charleston is Brett Ehman. I have worked with him twice over the last two years and before I found his law firm, searching for a good work-related lawyer in Charleston was actually quite the headache. I called around to many business lawyers and got the run around, but when I called Brett's office over in North Charleston, I was able to easily schedule an appointment to speak with him. All of the pre-engagement conversations made me feel confident knowing I was dealing with someone who had years of experience on both the defendant and plaintiff sides. Having someone on your side who can think through a case from more than one angle is definitely an added benefit. I've worked with Brett primarily on contract disputes and severance agreements and my initial perception proved correct.
