Unfortunately after a variety of phone calls and emails expressing what needed to be said in the will, there was still confusion on the day of signing as to what we wanted the will to state. As other reviewers have stated, it was as if he didn't know who we were or what we were wanting to accomplish when we came to the signing. Mr. Kelly Zier did catch some of his mistakes on his own, but had to keep running back to make several edits before we got to sign. I did notice during our initial consultation that his desk was very heavily covered with stacks of paper, suggesting that they may be a bit too overwhelmed with cases. The more concerning matters were related to disorganization. A few weeks ago, a lady called from their office and stated that she was newly working there, but they were unable to find their own copies of the documents we had signed. She claimed that they must have forgotten to make their own copies on the day of signing and asked that I scan them in to her so that they would have them for their records. She wasn't even correct in her understanding of what documents we had completed (a deed and a will). Then yesterday I received a bill in the mail from them for the same total that I already paid them on the day of signing. Again, I remember when I made my payment on that day, they were training some young kid to take payments for them. I did call them and they resolved that issue, confirming that I had indeed paid them in full. So it seems like they have a lot of new employees who just don't know how to do the work correctly. I feel that it's a lot of money to pay for this level of confusion and then it makes me have to wonder if the documents themselves that were drawn up are even done so correctly or are going to be effective when needed. Maybe it was just a bad spell for them, but I wouldn't be able to confidently go to them for any further legal help. Mr. Zier was a nice man and seemed knowledgeable during the initial consultation. I wish I could've had a better overall review.
