Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. I hired this firm over 3 years ago after my father passed away to do a simple probate. It was a simple will. One property, bank account, and vehicle. I was the only one on the will and there was no outstanding debt. I was told prior to signing the contract with them that a simple probate, barring any unforeseen issues coming up with the estate, would take about a year and that I probably wouldn't even use all of my retainer. At the time I was living out of town and they were able to do things by mail and email and seemed very capable so I signed with them. Problems arose when time went by and nothing would happen. I'd email and ask what was going on and get no response. Then email again maybe a week later and then suddenly work had been done! They'd ask me to do something, I'd get it done in 48 hours and sent back to them and not hear anything back for months. Then again I'd email asking where we were at. No response. Email again. Suddenly they needed something else from me. This pattern continued for nearly 3 years. No communication was ever initiated by them after the first paperwork. It was always me asking what was happening after months of silence. Finally in December the last of the documents went to the court. In January the court closed the estate. I only know this from looking at the court website. They still, at the end of May, have all of my estate documents. I actually owed them $100 because they conveniently used all of my retainer even though they mailed my last 3 statements of account to my old address. And yes I updated them with my current address. Twice. I paid them and asked a month ago for my documents. I was told they'd be mailed to me the next day. A month later I still do not have them. A simple cut and dry probate that probably should have taken about 18 months has now taken over twice as long. I emailed again today asking for my documents and so far no response. Not only do I feel I deserve money back for all of the time they wasted, I feel like the way I was treated was incredibly unprofessional. I highly do not recommend.

I know probate case takes time but Atty Breeden work hard and quick to get Probate court to recognize me as common law spouse and legal representative, in 1 1/2 year my ordeal is over and done, she was able to transfer the deeds and estate rights under my name . I am very impressed and grateful with Atty Breeden , she's was honest and fair on charging me handling my case . I also sought her service for my own estate and health care planning and will. Great Estate planner and and probate Lawyer.

I had the same experience as Melissa. I actually started requesting documents directly from the court, which you can tell is unusual because the court questioned if I had a lawyer and why it wasn't my lawyer requesting the documents. I gave up on going to the lawyers for anything because, as Melissa said, they were often unresponsive to email. If I really needed a response I had to call them.

I can not recommend them to handle your loved ones estates. I can not speak on their other services but please save your sanity and find another firm to handle an estate.
