I hired Amy Raffaldt few years ago ago to represent me in a family law matter, specifically regarding custody and property settlement. Recently, as we are going back to court to modify that agreement, I consulted another lawyer who was shocked to learn that Amy Raffaldt had been my attorney. It was at that moment I realized how biased her representation had been. Looking back, I felt that key elements of the agreement -- particularly custody arrangements -- were drafted in a way that heavily favored the other parent. My concerns and interests were not fully advocated for, and I left the process feeling that my position was not adequately protected. her guidance did not prioritize my rights or the best interests of my children. Men have made peace with the bias of police officers and judges, but to have your own lawyer doing so is truly a heartbreak.
