Not the best experience. Forgot the Realtor Commissions in the Closing Disclosure, didn't remember that keys had been delivered almost three week prior to closing, and although wire transfer instructions had been requested and sent a month prior to closing, still had to hand-write in the same information on the closing documents. Overall, not a smooth functioning organization.

Took my mom to update her will. Very knowledgeable staff. Provided details on SC law we were unaware of, explained pros & cons. Preparing was easy, interview was thorough and final signing organized and again explained. After, my husband and I returned and had our own wills updated based on things I became aware of at my moms meeting. The attorney is very patient and personable and answered all of our questions and concerns. Highly recommended.

Not very impressed at all. We thought they might be worth trying as we were doing a 1031 Exchange which might be complicated. We were willing to pay the much higher fees to get get the best. They let us down. They think very highly of themselves, but have no people skills. They were rude, didn't answer their phones, and certainly didn't keep us updated as to what was happening. Definitely wouldn't use them again. There are much less expensive and friendly options.

Would you like a law firm that that barely represents you and then treats you like hot garbage? If you need experts on doing the bare minimum and then treating you like you are dumb for not knowing things that only a lawyer would then choose Murray in Little River. I've had two services provided and boy howdy let me tell you I'm so happy I could write a snarky 1 star review with all my joy! My favorite was when they processed an estate, did the bare minimum, and didn't find a judgement on the property. I was told they didn't find it because I never asked for a very specific thing that only attorneys and people who've had their spouse die before would know. So according to them it was my fault for not making the request. Fair enough, I should have gotten my law degree before coming in that was my mistake. The best part though is they never actually told me when the estate closed. Yeah, so after about 2 years I actually came in and asked for a copy of some previous paperwork and the lady behind the desk was so so dumb (I had to explain what I needed about 5 times and it still took 2 trips) that she handed me all the paperwork which included final documents from roughly 3 months before I came in. No letter, email, phone call, nothing. Just random chance. So I decided to sell that property and the listing agent is good friends with the people at Murray and what a red flag I ignored! So maybe if you have experience buying and selling homes and you like for your law firm to not actually treat you like you pay them then I imagine this would be a perfect place for you. Not once did I feel like Murray was working for me, constantly bending to the will of the buyers attorneys to the point that I wondered if they were indeed also the buyer's attorneys. Also, a week before closing they demand I pay for a judgement on the property. A judgement I was completely blindsided by and the property that Murray themselves had processed the estate for. I was told I had to pay it even though the estate was closed and that they didn't find it BECAUSE I DIDN'T ASK THEM TO. WHAT!? I'M SORRY, I DON'T INHERIT PROPERTY FROM DEAD PEOPLE EVERY DAY ENOUGH TO KNOW WHAT I'M NEEDING! THATS WHY I PAID YOU! In fact, Murray has underrepresented me so badly that apparently I'm the only person on Earth in 25 years to not have the property sell wired into their account immediately on closing and as of many days later has yet to be paid while someone else lives in my house. So honestly if you're looking for a property just find a seller who is using Murray for the closing process and you'll receive everything you want. Just have your attorney ask them. Edit: I was going to take out the redundant bit on them not finding the judgement on the property but instead I will be more redundant and mention again how I was told it was my fault for not knowing about and also not asking for them to look for it which is funny, because I think where I messed up is by telling them I didn't know what I was doing and then paying them to ensure everything was done.

Excellent service from the first call. Melissa, Terry and the whole staff really took care of our sell, and purchase. Murray Law will be our top recommendation to ANYONE who needs true professionals, with the ability to actually do what they promised. So nice to see a place like this still exists! Johnny & Marilyn J
