I would highly recommend Kennedy & Blackshire if you ever need legal help with family matters/divorce cases. Pam is very professional and takes the time to listen not treating me like a number and was fully invested in my case. She is very responsive and her office staff is amazing. I had a very drawn out situation and Pam stood with me every step of the way. She was always there when needed and responded in a timely manner to any question I had. I believe that I can give a unique perspective for anyone searching for a divorce lawyer. It helps when my mother, who also happens to be a lawyer, gives a "behind the scenes" view of the legal world. We often have expectations which are far from reality, but it is probably best to explain what brought me to Mrs. Kennedy in the first place. Since my marriage was heading for divorce and my mother practices in another state, we needed to gather solid background information. Well, judges are like everyone else - meaning, they converse and gossip with others about their experience with Officers of the Court/lawyers. My mother was directed to Mrs. Kennedy by multiple individuals. I mentioned expectations above. You may very well have a 'home run' position in your eyes, but what the law allows, your judge perceives, and the other lawyer can/will do may result in the opposite of your expectations. Besides the fact that Mrs. Kennedy may have a perfect auditory memory, she was able to navigate a complex situation for the best possible outcome. Frankly, I don't believe that there could have been better outcome, and my mother agrees. And if you knew my mom, her satisfaction is difficult to come by. The truth is that I have my son and life couldn't be better. I believe that she is worth double her rate. In situations involving your children, I am not wrong. I will be forever grateful to her.
