I've gone to other facilities on the island, HHPT is way ahead of the others. I love that it is locally owned and i receive personalized care. The therapists listen and track your needs and it's smaller and efficient. My therapist is Krista and she is amazing. Because of the space I see all the other therapist, and they are all professional and attentive. There is a team environment that is friendly and inviting.

After my wife had a stroke we found this place for her to go for physical therapy and we are glad we did. From the beginning we were treated like family and everyone was very supportive professionally and helpful. From Brenda to Carla, everyone was great.. we fully recommend Hilton Head Physical Therapy to anyone.

While on vacation, I contacted HHPT and they enrolled me right away. I had intense pain starting in the Levator Scapulae of the neck down into my upper back from compression on the nerves of the C, 4,6,7 vertebrae. Also severe pain in the Gluteus Minimus muscle making walking for any distance painful or not at all. Elaine , PT with 36 years of experience, administered manual manipulation of my cervical and thoracic spine, power massage, dry needeling, manual traction and education to adress my issues. In 4 sessions, due to vacation , Elanine accomplished more results than all the PT I received back home in Ohio. The staff from reception, management and Physical Therapist were profession and friendly.They provide hour long PT one on one, unlike the half hour PT at home. I would recommend Hilton Head Physical Therapy to my family , friends and those living in or visiting Hilton Head based on the great relief from pain I received and the years of experience of the therapists. I understand the importance of having policies in place for no-call/no-show appointments, but my experience with this office has left me feeling that the policy is applied too rigidly and without reasonable consideration for individual circumstances. Even when communication was attempted or extenuating situations occurred, the policy was enforced in a way that felt punitive rather than understanding. While the therapists themselves provide quality care, the administrative approach to scheduling and cancellations has made it difficult for me to continue as a patient. I hope the office will consider showing more flexibility and empathy in how this policy is used.

I have been receiving therapy at Hilton Head Physical Therapy for a recent knee replacement for the past month and have been extremely pleased with the quality of therapy offered. Unlike the vast majority of PT shops, HHPT only schedules one patient per therapist per hour. They are attentive and work hard to maximize your recovery. I do have experience at another, large and well known PT provider. I rehabbed a leg from drop foot last year. Each therapist scheduled 2-3 Patients for any particular hour and rotated between the patients. The individualized treatment plan and total attention to the scheduled patient places Hilton Head Physical Therapy head and shoulders above other providers.
