I paid Fran Powell at this law firm four years ago to record a deed, and just found out it was never done. When I reached out recently, the firm said they have no record of my transaction and asked me for proof of payment, even though this was years ago. This is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional, especially since recording a deed is such an important legal step. If you decide to work with this firm or with Fran Powell, make sure you keep detailed proof of every payment and follow up in writing, because in my experience, they failed to complete the work I paid for. What's most disappointing is that I've done additional business with this firm since then and even referred multiple people to them, yet they showed no willingness to make it right or take responsibility for their mistake. It's clear they don't value or appreciate loyal clients.
