ZERO STARS! Many competent attorneys do not charge an initial consult fee, however Dan Hunt does. On 9 January 2025 I met with him for about 10 minutes,at which time he briefly examined my document and told me he would begin researching my case and inform me of his findings (discovery phase). I then paid him $200. Some two weeks passed and I heard nothing from his office, so I phoned and was told by his staff member he was in a meeting but either he or a staff person would be in contact. As of today, 29 April 2025, I have not been contacted by his office! I have retained another attorney. Apparently "He taketh, but giveth not".

Our family hired Daniel Hunt's office to represent us in my father's estate. Over a two year period we experienced nothing but frustration. We would reach out to the office for updates but met each time with ignored emails and not returning calls. It would take weeks to get any information. I feel in the end our situation was treated as a low priority.

Extremely knowledgeable, yet personable attorney, who met with me right off the bat. After dealing with another law firm who was a royal pain to deal with, I cut ties and came here. His advise could possibly save me a ton off money, even though said advise actually cost him some money. At least I now know who I will do all my future real estate business with.

Dan isn't my attorney but my experience with him has been better than I could imagine. He gave me the right direction I needed right at consultation and didn't mess around with telling me what I didn't want to hear even though it was what needed to be said. If I ever need an attorney in Pickens county for anything he'll be it.
