My attorney Dalton Cooper helped me through my divorce and was able to help me show proof that i am a loving and safe parent absolutely deserving of seeing my child on a regular basis. The process was pretty smooth and when we did have to go to bat per say he had all the documentation we needed to secure a satisfying result. I never felt rushed or like a burden when speaking with him on multiple occasions. He listens and sympathizes. He is very down to earth and not a stiff. Awful experience with this attorney - he is incredibly unprofessional, and borderline unethical in how he handles cases. Read other reviews here, look at his social media (!!!), and stay far away if you'd like your case litigated with any semblance of professionalism and without being blasted on social media.

John walked out during mediation twice, didn't come into the room before the mediation was signed, to look over the document. Canceled the prep appointment we had before the final court hearing. Never read my files before court to properly represent me. The lack of professionalism has disappointed me more than anyone has in my life, he lost every court hearing and mediation, every time I lost additional visitation and child support. I came his office for an appointment, and he never even showed up after I sat there two hours.

Mr. Harte has a rapport with most in the judiciary branch in this town. However, he dropped the ball in my case a few times and never even care enough to realize. He built no rapport with me whatsoever. Anytime I called or emailed I wouldn't hear from him or his paralegals for days and even a week. When I did speak to him he would act like I was a bother, a distraction, a burden, a charity case that keeps pestering when I should take my soup and be happy I got what I did. However, I paid for that time so I shouldn't have been a bother. I did notice though how his demeanor would brighten and his focus works sharpen as they were gathering evidence for a big insurance settlement trial. The care was contrast like night and day. Even though I paid him and it was thousands, even then, I was a pain not a payout. Mr. Harte also lacked urgency in regards to preparing for my future dates and scheduling them at that. He would get my case confused with another case he had on occasion, two to be exact. He filed my case for me, he gave me an itemized bill statement, his staff are decent people and they are growing. He isn't a bad man but he's not a good lawyer at this point in his career. "John is good sometimes..... And.... Sometimes he's not" I recommend caution and preparation BEFORE you use him. His prices aren't bad at all but be vigilant and diligent for yourself so you don't have any problems.

John Hart and his staff have been top notch attorneys for decades in Aiken. I've used John for my family case and he has stayed on top of everything regarding my case. I know for a fact he is good as well with criminal cases. I've never been on the criminal side but I was a police officer for 9 years and if you did not have your ducks in a row as a police officer he would sure find the mistakes.
