I was involved in a Protection From Abuse case where Attorney Mark Zimmer represented the opposing party at one hearing, and an unidentified female attorney from this same firm appeared at the second. While every client has the right to legal counsel, the firm's approach in both instances was unnecessarily aggressive and dismissive. The firm chose to represent an individual with a documented history of threats and abusive behavior toward my family. The tactics used made it painfully clear how the system tends to protect the accused rather than the victim. The hearings felt less about truth or safety and more about who could control the courtroom. For anyone dealing with this firm in a similar situation, be aware: professionalism and empathy took a back seat to intimidation. I left the courtroom feeling unheard and dismissed--not because there wasn't evidence, but because compassion and fairness were missing from the process.

Stephen Price was rude, condescending, and quite unprofessional at a St. Lawrence zoning board hearing. Would never recommend him as he clearly is not out to help anyone but himself.

I did not have a great experience with this law firm. In regard to the legal help and advice I received from Attorney Sarno, I feel like she took the easy way out, rather than actually fighting for me. She made it seem like my only option was to go with her advice and if I went against it and fought for a better outcome, I would be in worse shape than I was then. I know this is pretty vague, but it's the best I can describe without going into detail. I found out after the fact, that the other party would have been more than willing to give more, but my attorney asked for the easiest outcome for me and best outcome for me. I'm not sure if this was simply because she didn't like me, or because she didn't want to put in the extra effort. But it had a permanent effect on me and my life. After the case was completed and all of the paperwork was done, I received three different invoices for her extra time. Two of these invoices I paid in full, assuming she was just finalizing paperwork with the courts. A third invoice came in with services dating almost two months after our case was handled, for almost $600 dollars and no explanation as to what it as for. I do not plan on utilizing an attorney again, if I don't have to. If I found myself in another legal situation though, I will be choosing a different law firm, without question.
