Bankruptcy but not your normal bankruptcy. Doug and his team were more than I could ever ask for. I had my own A team! My David fighting Goliath. They were always there to answer my questions even if they were repeated questions and I was being a pain. My fight was a very long process and it started in 2019 finally over 2023. Doug and his team fought hard and worked hard. They were so professional, honest and made me feel good about my case. Doug was brutally honest and never sugar coated anything. The time and research they had to do went beyond what was necessary. They had my back at all times!!!! They made me feel like I wasn't just another client but a person, friend, family. I would always be able to reach them as well as get emails or phone calls back even if it was after hours. All my court filing were always on time. I recommend Doug and his team to all my family and friends. Doug and his team will always be my friends, my lawyer!!!!!! I will always go to him for all my legal matters.

A Disappointing Legal Experience I regretfully engaged the services of Douglas Wortman, and my experience left much to be desired. If you're considering hiring him, proceed with caution. Communication Nightmare: Mr. Wortman's communication skills were abysmal. Emails and phone calls went unanswered, leaving me frustrated and anxious. Elusive and Unresponsive: Attempting to reach Mr. Wortman was an exercise in futility. When I did manage to connect thru MY CASE and not on the telephone, it was brief and unhelpful. I expected better responsiveness from a legal professional. Painstaking Process: Dealing with Mr. Wortman was akin to navigating a labyrinth blindfolded. Simple matters dragged on needlessly, and I felt lost in a bureaucratic maze. I often wondered if my case was a mere inconvenience to him. Missed Opportunities: Opportunities slipped through the cracks due to Mr. Wortman's lack of timely action. Deadlines were ignored, and my frustration grew. I wish I had chosen a different attorney--one who valued my time, money and legal needs. Regrettable Decision: In hindsight, hiring Mr. Wortman was a mistake. I should have explored other options. Perhaps a different lawyer would have treated my case with the attention it deserved after receiving my money. In summary, Douglas Wortman's legal representation was subpar. If you seek effective communication, responsiveness, and a smoother process, I recommend looking elsewhere. Learn from my experience and choose wisely.
