Client
Clint was recommended to my father three years ago after a car accident. It was a simple case where the responsible party clearly was in the wrong. Three years later still no settlement. After my father did some of his own work to discover why it was taking so long for a settlement it was found that Clint had been sitting on paperwork for months. Clint continues to blame other parties when it was his negligence that was holding up the process. He never answers phones calls and when he does he gets into screaming matches with his client. My father has been severely handicapped by his accident and Clint has been nothing but a nightmare to work with. While waiting for a settlement my father needed to borrow money to avoid bankruptcy. The money he borrowed was from a group that Clint recommended that would receive payment after a settlement was received at very high interest rates. We come to find out that while Clint was encouraging him to borrow money he hadn't submitted crucial paper work to lead to the resolution of the case for 6 months. Now my father is more in debt and will have to pay high interest when he finally does get his settlement. Instead of doing his work to settle the case Clint pushed it off and pushed my father into further debt. My father has done more work on figuring out what Clint has done wrong than Clint has done on his case. I believe Clint took advantage of my elderly father and did not believe he would discover the injustice, but he did. Now we have to wonder how to move forward. Stay as far away from Clint as you possibly can!
