I have been in the real estate business, buying, selling, and flipping houses for over 10 years and have dealt with many abstract companies and closing agency's. John Novak is by far the worst experience I have ever had. His lack of professionalism is astonishing. First he took forever to get a closing sheet prepared, ignored several calls from my agent and went out of his way to be difficult to work with. At closing we walked into a tiny waiting room the size of a closet and where told the closing itself would be held there. Of course Novak was not initially present, we had to wait for him. I guess he cant afford an office with a private conference room. This makes sense given that he clearly cant afford a suit either as when he finally showed up he was dressed so casual you might have thought he was sitting in his house watching TV. I guess it was not enough that we where all crammed into a tiny waiting room to do the closing he had to have an annoying assistant in there as well playing on her phone and occasionally looking up to spout some useless dribble in a shrill voice. Finally afterwards it took him an excessively long time to register the deed with the county. Honestly given his lack of quality up to that point it did not surprise me to much though. Over all the lack of professionalism this attorney showed was astounding to the point of being laughable. I guess that is appropriate though given that he is clearly a joke.
