They answered any questions I had. Their communication was great and answered in a timely manner. I would definitely go to them again in the future.

Horrible service! I wasted a year dealing with this law firm. To have a lawyer that gave me incorrect information. I was getting a name change. They had me sign the birth certificate and mail it in, after waiting a year for the state to deny it. They never responded to phone calls or emails. The lawyer I had quit. I closed my case. My new lawyer (after I left Mooney Law) advised the correct actions to take and it is moving along now. If the law firms could not handle a simple name change, I would not recommend them to a soul. I wish I could leave no stars.

I have been trying to file a petition through them since September of 2023 on my husband's behalf!! Finally got an answer back 2 weeks before my petition was due! Petition needed done and signed by judge by March 12th 2024! They were made aware of this and I just received the petition today (March 12th) with major and I mean major errors in it!!! Still have yet to be in front of a judge.... Over $500 waste for them to make SIMPLE mistakes on the petition. How hard is it to have someone proofread before sending something out! Something so simple as putting the wrong name on it even though the correct name is listed in the defendant box!!

I had a custody case and retained Attorney Michael Aegbuniwe as counsel. I cannot express how intelligent, knowledgeable and compassionate he is. He walked me through
every step, was thoughtful and made sure every decision was what I wanted. If you need counsel Michael is who you want to represent you. He truly cares about you and will listen to you. Call and ask for his paralegal Kaitlin to schedule. She is awesome too!!

I reached out to Mooney Law over a traffic incident case that had the potential for more serious consequences. I was assigned Stephen G. Held who listened to my desires for plea deal...My original review was favorable...however, due to their failure to respond after several inquiries..I have to express concerns over the ability or willingness of this lawfirm to perform the duties hired for, and the results after discussing with others. Initially approached about a plea deal, Mr. Held never brought up the fact that the OFFICER involved changed their story multiple times, and had at one point denied me a lawyer when asked(which is why I reached out originally, and they were fully aware of), however I was anxious and wanted the process over and had faith in the process. There were no repercussions to the officer filing in such a manner we couldn't even initially plea, which resulted in double court fees. After the final court hearing, where I heard an entire new story about the incident, i found out the plea I agreed to was NOT honored. His conduct in court was...interesting, in that he did not seem to know what to say. Every attempt at reaching out to Mr. Held and his paralegal was met with no response, minus one where the paralegal simply stated "I wasn't there". We will be looking into a lawsuit against the police department involved, definitely not with Mooney Law.
