Absolutely terrible customer service, Derek is extremely not personable. I was looking for a bit of direction, he pretty much just told me he would have to charge me to consult with him, and then when I advised of what it was about, he just said he can't help me. Never offered a suggestion, a direction, anything. Just I'd have to charge you, and I can't help you. And he spoke very aggressive, as if I bothered him with my inquiry.

I emailed for a consult. I had just been forced to resign from my job of 17 years. Mr. Cummings called me to "consult" and could not have been less interested in what I was talking about. He interrupted me several times and I could tell that he was just trying to get me off the phone. I didn't even finish the conversation, I just let him off the phone. You know, I understand that lawyers are busy, truly, however, I had just been through something pretty traumatic to me and I was just looking for some direction and was feeling completely destroyed when I hung up. I may not be the most important person, but Im still a human being. Perhaps those particular attorneys shouldn't offer free consults if they don't really mean it.

The best experience I've had with legal representation. I contacted McCarthy Weisberg Cummings P.C. regarding an unpaid wages lawsuit and was seen the following business day for a consultation. The attorney I met with was able to not only get me my unpaid wages and reparations, but was able to keep it from being dragged into court. By working with my previous employer and still getting what was due to me avoided the ugly, drawn-out process of suing someone. The people there are kind, respectful, and genuinely concerned with doing right by their clients. My issue was resolved so easily and so quickly and I don't think I would have gotten that anywhere else.
