Client
I hired this firm based on their 5-star Google reviews, expecting strong representation in my landlord/tenant case. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. At first, communication seemed promising, but once I paid the $1,500 flat fee, responsiveness dropped significantly. Calls went to voicemail without return, emails were ignored, and I even had to send someone in person multiple times to get them to call back or respond on the case status. On one occasion, I was sent to voicemail, but when a friend called just minutes later, the call was answered immediately. When it came to preparing for court, my lawyer did not thoroughly review the lease or properly use the documentation I had provided. This left the judge questioning the validity of our claims, which was frustrating given that I had supplied everything needed to strengthen our case. The lack of preparation and follow-through came across as unprofessional and inexperienced in landlord/tenant law. The most disappointing moment was when it came time to appeal the decision: instead of handling it, the firm asked me to file the appeal myself because they were "too busy." I hired them to represent me, not to pass critical work back to me. Overall, I feel like I paid for them to gain experience in this field at my expense. The lack of professionalism, communication, and expertise made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this firm to others seeking reliable representation.
