Jeffrey L. Olson Attorney at Law

I've worked with Mr. Olson for several months and will continue to do so. He was upfront about fees and expectations from day one, unlike other attorneys I consulted. He's prompt with communication, honest, and fair. I'm fortunate to have him and his decades of experience in my corner.

I recently filed an ethics complaint with the Oregon State Bar Association against Mr. Olson for abruptly abandoning me (and my case) in the middle of damages settlement negotiations with an insurance company. He had absolutely NO justifiable reason for doing so, other than the fact that I was asking him pointed questions about my case, which he became defensive about. He falsely claimed that I said that he was giving me "bad advice" and "ineffective service" as his excuse to abruptly exit my case. Over the course of the two months that I retained Mr. Olson's legal services, he billed me $425 an hour for basically doing very little actual legal work, for a total of almost $5,000! The fact that the Oregon State Bar Lawyer Referral Service continues to refer Mr. Olson to unsuspecting potential clients is quite troubling! Honestly, I'd give Mr. Olson a ZERO star rating if that were an option. My negative experience with him is precisely why the majority of people distrust attorneys!

I am a previous client and could not recommend a better attorney. Jeff is friendly, professional, and all around super easy to work with. His follow-through and communications all the way around are to a very high standard, and he answers all questions in a timely fashion and doesn't waste time. I am happy to refer his law firm to anyone in need, and have done so.

Jeff was truly amazing. He took my case on with short notice before my custody trial and helped me get full custody of my son. I will continue to keep him under retainer and appreciate the friendship we have built.
