Paul Lemieux is a wonderful attorney to work with on your estate planning. He is very easy to talk to and explains any questions you may have. He responds very quickly to phone calls and emails, but is usually available when calling the office of McKean & Knaupp Attorneys.
I would highly recommend him for your estate planning.

I recently worked with Paul Lemieux, an attorney at McKean Knaupp Attorneys in Hillsboro to do my estate planning & had an excellent experience with him. He is very knowledgeable about the subject & very patient in explaining the process & answering all of my questions & concerns, as it was all brand new to me. He also made 2 excellent referrals for a power of attorney & a health care agent, as I had no one to serve in those roles. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone for their estate planning needs.

I was charged $130 for a half hour consultation.... During this the advice I was given next changed not only my case but cost me an extra $1500 due to their incompetent advice and other lawyers said sounded like a mal practice almost as a set up .... I was told to do "this step and then follow up with this and see how they respond and then let us know..." ..... Well that back fired and It almost ruined my case.... One of the main points being their was no contact for a certain amount of time and this group of clowns told me to do exactly that and break the 2 things the judges would have seen and been able to go forward in the process.... Instead had to get another attorney and take a loan out and now I'm in a horrible situation annnnnnnd It took a lot longer then necessary.... Thanks for nothing and a horrible experience and consult and everything.... Horrible

I met w Paul Lemieux intending to update my family trust after the death of my husband. We worked though the changes together and he reviewed my existing trust. The next time we met, he counseled me that I was better off keeping the current trust, as a rework could invite emotional legal issues for my beneficiaries. Paul saved me money, time and effort while helping me understand the legal interdependencies. Thanks, Paul!

Worked with Ben for about 6 months to a year in hopes of getting my fare share of the pension mom left for us. My eldest brother was keeping all the money to himself. So my other brother and I hired Ben with the hopes that we could get our fare share out of it. Ben led us to believe there were options for PERS when a beneficiary is attached. However, this wasn't the case. I felt like we were just a paycheck for his partner who he handed us down to. Ultimately, we spent $14,000 and got nothing. After the deposition, Ben led us to believe if we filed a motion to have PERS, that it could be divided up three ways. This cost us $2,000 alone, and he could have just made a phone call to the PERS attorney who then told him we couldn't do anything.
