I remember being in the court room with chase and he didn't even understand law, after arguing with the judge and the judge telling him i think i know the law and i don't need you telling me, but the judge was correct he was definitely wrong, why would you hire someone that argues with the judge and really dosen't understand legal stuff. Amanda Thorpe and Kasia Hoffman have been extremely helpful with my divorce. They were both very quick to respond to any questions I had, and openly and honestly communicated every step of the process. Divorce is a terrible thing to have to go through. From there, the communication and progress stalled, but the billing did not. She managed to exhaust the entire $4,500 without much meaningful work or resolution. Ultimately, I had to let her go and represent myself. I went to court one more time without her, and the divorce was finalized quickly. In hindsight, it felt like I paid thousands of dollars for little more than administrative support. I would describe her as a glorified (and very expensive) secretary at best. I regret not handling the process myself from the beginning.
