I had the privilege of working with Emily Hill when I needed legal advice for setting up an LLC and starting my small business. I found her to be not only extremely capable, knowledgeable, and proficient but also such a joy to work with. I reached out to Emily because our family business needed a service agreement. I told her what I wanted to see in the agreement. She sent me a draft of what she had written out. I reviewed it, and we set another appointment to discuss some adjustments. We spent about like an hour on the phone as she explained to me what every section of the agreement meant. She met my needs, and the cost of her services was fair and affordable. Emily Hill was very lovely, and professional. I would recommend her !!

You never want to need a lawyer, but when you do, it often happens quick and it's hard to get some of the larger companies to care or have the time for you. I was extremely lucky to have found Emily and highly suggest that you reach out to her the minute you think you need help. She answers questions and actually assesses your case before agreeing to anything, and most importantly is honest. She won't take your money unless she thinks she actually can help you. She is upfront and realistic about what a potential/likely outcome might be so that you can make an informed decision, and is responsive--especially in the thick of things. She may try to focus on small businesses and other legal needs, but she has too big of a heart (and is a Hufflepuff ) to not help the "little guys" that need help too. She has skills and expertise in disability, ADA or EEOC issues that can be particularly useful, and she cares immensely about getting the best result she can. Even if it's not the news you want, she is going to give you an honest appraisal of the situation and fight as hard as she can to get you a result out of court, without pushing so hard you get nothing or are forced to litigate. It was wonderful having a nice human being as a lawyer, and I highly recommend her services to anyone in need.
