I recommend this law firm most highly! Drew Johnson is the most compassionate, kind, and helpful lawyer I have ever met. His assistant Sherwood is most kind and helpful, acting as an ally to me the customer, not as a gatekeeper. Drew was able to help me make sense of my case from a nontechnical legal consumer perspective and understand how to proceed, and I believe I recall he even refused to charge me for his initial advice after I won my second appeal, before the hearing stage where an attorney present is needed. His They answered all my phone calls and answered all my questions thoroughly. Their commitment to caring for and actually helping people was profound. He not only helped me with my disability case but helped me help a younger family member win who had a steep uphill legal challenge with the government. He retired, and his son took over the practice, and I know he is committed to the same high standard of service and compassion as his father. I cannot recommend this practice more highly enough. Called for help with SSDI application and representation. I have a brain injury and cannot comprehend reading paperwork and filling it out. I asked for help with my application since I do not have anyone to help. They said if I can't fill out their forms then they don't have someone to help me do it. I reiterated that I am disabled and need assistance and they point blank said they did not have time or resources to help me fill out intake forms even though I'm disabled. They referred me elsewhere. Seems a little ableist and I'm glad to not be working with them!

I found Mr. Johnson through a friend who knew I was looking for an attorney to help me with my appeal for SSDI. When I met with Drew, it was clear he was the person best suited for me. Drew saved me when I was down and out, waiting for the final count: I filed my original disability claim in May of 2016. I was denied and down to my final appeal. I felt the government evaluations of my case were biased and they had cherry picked my medical records.
