One of our goals in 2023 was to have our Wills and Powers of Attorney for Personal Care and Property finalized. We researched several law firms in Halton Hills and selected Sweatman Law Firm as our first choice. Our first telephone call and chat with Kim answered our questions about process- timing and fees. She followed thru quickly to provide the worksheets we needed to complete. Our first meeting with Jasmine was relaxed with Jasmine reviewing our information and discussing the basics of the documents and confirming our desires regards our affairs. The document drafts were emailed to us with detailed instructions regarding reviewing- making changes. At our second meeting Jasmine was very understanding that some oversights had to be corrected. More important to us was her willingness to answer our questions about some of the legal language. She accepted that we wanted to better understand what is being stated in the Wills and POAs before we signed the documents. I also want to share that Kim and Jasmine were so very understanding of our personal situation of been unavailable for several weeks due to a family care situation.
