We hired Jeremy Hamby to help with finishing a settlement. Before we signed any paperwork he answered every call, text and email. We would hear from him multiple times a day and he answered every question. The day we signed paperwork all communication stopped. It would be days before we heard back and sometimes it took multiple emails. When we asked for better communication we were told that he was busy and we needed to allow 2 days for a response. Many times it was longer than 2 days or we would never hear back at all. Shaylee, Jeremy's Paralegal, worked so hard and ended up being our main point of contact. She answered everything she could, to the best of her ability. She called us and even drove to meet us to sign papers. We truly feel that the only reason the settlement was finalized and anything was done was because of the work Shaylee did. Without her I'm not sure much would have been done. We hired Jeremy at the end of May, our settlement was done at the beginning of August and it is now September. The day everything was finalized we went by his office to pick up final paperwork and Jeremy was not in the office. Jeremy has NEVER reached out to make sure everything went OK or to have a final conversation.
