The staff is disgustingly rude. If the front line represents and reflects the rest of the team, RUN!!! I called for a simple consultation and wanted information on the probate process and to set up a consultation. The woman who answered the phone began asking questions and when I asked her one in between she began to yell and scold me. I am now going to be using a different attorney. What a horrible face for a company!

I wasn't satisfied with my service or the way their receptionist decided to speak with me when this case revolved around my deceased husbands estate. I specifically said if nothing can be done then at least show up for me in court for the probate matter. But at the last minute nobody showed up for me. Then I got told by the receptionist when I tried to explain how she was one of the reasons I considered the firm after I spoke with her how "everything's just everyone's fault and poor Tyler just gets picked on". To be clear, this was not the attorney who spoke to me like this, but their receptionist. Regardless, how unprofessional. I paid $2,680 to you guys and for what? Some phone calls you made to see if we could or couldn't sue? Calls to someone named Gail who i was told is retired anyway... one thing that wasn't done was nobody showed up for me in front of Judge Waters when I made it clear that's what I need if nothing else could be done. Which I believe more could have been done but now the statute of limitations are OVER because the firm wanted to assume I was wrong about the statute ending on the certain date and I was in fact right! Because all I did the last 3 years was study Oklahoma contract law and now because NOTHING got done I may have no recourse to what I also hired you guys to do for me! Was my best interest looked after at all during this transaction with this firm? Because I certainly don't believe it was and I would happily go in front of any Judge or Jury to get that specific answer. I'm not doubting Shelton Law Firm as an exceptional attorney in Court. But I am citing that I retained them, and nobody showed up for me. Regardless of their reasoning being they couldn't handle the case after "serious consideration". Even though I specifically stated if that's the case, just show up for me for the probate matter. There's no way you couldn't handle a simple probate. I get everything else you decided not to pursue. But a simple probate? Also to put me by myself in front of Judge Waters. I managed to handle that the way it should have been handled by this firm to begin with. But I did that. Without the help of you guys, or the money I gave you guys. But thanks for the phone calls to other attorneys that cost me $2,680 just for a serious consideration to do nothing and leave me without an attorney in Court, except for the one I hired the very next morning since that's when my Court date was. The very next day before you guys decided to tell me very late in the day nobody would be showing up for me at my next day early morning hearing. 3-Stars, because I am sure Shelby is still an exceptional attorney regardless. Mr. Shelton and his staff are amazing. Make you feel comfortable when needing a lawyer usually makes one anxious. They are knowledgeable, personable and work due diligently to make sure they are well prepared for you and your case. Cannot recommend them enough. If you need an attorney who will fight your fight as if it was their own this is the law firm for you. Myself and our company will be only using him as our attorney.
