I would HIGHLY recommend Ball Morse Lowe PLLC to ANYONE looking for a Law Firm for any reason! I personally had need of the Family Law side and had the honor of working with Abbi Slaton. Abbi and her legal assistant Charlton Rigsby both worked diligently on my case to make sure everything was complete and done in a timely manner. Any time I had any information that I thought would be helpful to the case, Abbi was always open to listen to what I had to say and worked closely with me to gather evidence to help my case. I know there are other Family Law attorneys with the firm and they all work very closely together to make sure their clients are all well taken are of. I know there was one time that Abbi could not be in court with me and Tyler Crowe filled in for her. Tyler was fully aware of my case and went into court very well prepared. To me, this is a sign of a top notch law firm and not just a firm that passes their clients off from attorney to attorney. They TRULY care!! I would never hesitate to refer anyone to this firm!!

My experience with Ball Morse Lowe was extremely disappointing. I met with two of their attorneys for a divorce consultation and was upfront from the beginning that my husband is a well-connected individual in the Norman/Cleveland County area. I explained that I did not want to get into the criminal aspects of his behavior -- I simply wanted a straightforward, fair divorce so I could move on with my life and keep my children safe. During the consultation, both attorneys made it seem like a simple, manageable case. I even told them I suspected that people upstairs in their office might try to prevent them from taking my case, given my husband's local connections. They reassured me that this would not be a problem and that there was no conflict of interest. They quoted me a $5,000 retainer, which was fair and reasonable. However, less than 24 hours later, I received a call from a secretary stating that the retainer had suddenly increased to $15,000 -- three times the original quote. There were no changes in the facts of my case to justify that jump. My divorce involves no retirement accounts, no trust funds, and very limited assets, so a $15,000 retainer made absolutely no sense. It was clear to me that someone connected to my husband had contacted the firm and influenced their decision. This sudden pricing increase felt like a direct attempt to price me out of representation -- a pattern I've seen repeatedly from those within the local legal and judicial network aligned with my husband's connections. For a firm that presents itself as ethical and community-centered, this was a shocking and disheartening experience. The $15,000 retainer quote for what should have been a simple, uncontested divorce was not only unreasonable but also revealed just how influenced and compromised even established firms like Ball Morse Lowe can be within Cleveland County's interconnected legal circles.

I'm sure others have amazing experience by mine was less than stellar. I need to do probate for an estate. The lawyer had me do a bunch of extra steps that wasn't really needed by the end, didn't explain the process well, and when I wasn't able to keep her timeline due to personal matters (but still able to pay) she dropped me. I ended up going with Tyler Barret (different firm) who was patient and actually explained the process. I am left with the impression that BML wasted my money.

Abbi is a wonderful. I spent 6 years trying to find a lawyer and she gave me a chance. She pays good attention to detail and was very helpful every step of the way. I don't know where I'd be without her.
