I cannot express enough gratitude for Attorney Cliff Johns of Hayes Law Firm. Despite being a public defender, handling an overwhelming caseload of court-ordered and paid services, he demonstrated exceptional dedication. Through his tireless efforts, my case was skillfully secured for dismissal, allowing me to move forward with my life. Attorney Johns not only navigated the legal complexities but also provided the support I needed to focus on more meaningful aspects of life, beyond the constant monthly court dates. If you are seeking a family law attorney please steer clear of Andy. Of course, we were told everything we wanted to hear to get my husband to hire him. Experience: After nearly $6,000 later we ended up with a temporary custody order that was never filed with the court by Andy despite being told MULTIPLE times it had been. I had to call the courthouse myself & confirm all documents that had been filed. This could have went very badly in multiple ways. He guaranteed the temporary order had been filed UNTIL I guaranteed that it was not after I called the courthouse. Once I mentioned that within the next couple sentences that came out if his mouth we were blamed for it not being filed (he made 3 different excuses for why it was my husbands fault) even though my husband went out of his way to get the order signed TWICE after it was lost the first time. Shocker! We were charged hundreds of dollars for the draft of that temporary order that was never filed. We are also the ones who informed him that his office calculated Child Support wrong. When I addressed him about this I was told "If it was calculated that way, then that it what it is." & after he blamed us for the order not being filed, he also blamed us for not speaking up sooner in regards to the calculations being wrong. I'm not sure what we paid him thousands of dollars for if not to correctly calculate & file our temporary order. We were charged at LEAST $150 every time court was cancelled due to telephone call expenses. Court was canceled 4 times in a year due to the other attorney, but we were charged this amount every single time. We emailed Andy to try to compromise & sever the relationship with a partial payment on the remaining bill due to expenses we paid where the work was not done. In true Andy fashion, we never received an email or phone call in regards to this situation. So, we hired a different attorney & BY FAR he is amazing & has helped us accomplish in 4 months what Andy could not in 13 months. Maybe if he spent more time genuinely working & not making excuses for EVERY. SINGLE. THING. he would be an amazing attorney. Be aware. I give Andy 5 stars for being a crook & fraud before I'd ever consider giving him 2 stars as an attorney.

DD hayes and all the members at this law office are absolutely amazing people. I could use words such as kind and caring and sympathy.... But I believe those words would be of a shortcoming . If I had to use one word to sum this man up it would be - empathy. If I had to use one great historical qoute to sum this man up it would be ( The man in the Arena by Theodore Roosevelt ).... This man has compassion for what he does and who you are..... I personally had never meet DD Hayes prior to him taking on my case.... I had no encounters with this man or any of his Associates nor his family.... I simply told this man my long story of my failures and my mistakes. He didn't judge. He didn't belittle. He gave me his thoughts of honesty. Then he gave me a price and set me up with a very low down payment. This man has gone back to court for me multiple times ( more then what was agreed upon ) and has not asked for even a penny more then what was originally agreed upon. This man has gone well above and beyond. I can honestly say that no matter the outcome I picked the best man for the job. Hayes Law office will always have my support. God bless you all !

Do not hire Andy as a criminal defense attorney! He will not communicate with the client or the family to let you know what's going on. Maybe for people who skin matches his but not anyone else. He is very unprofessional. I found out more info about my nephew case online than through after he has received thousands of dollars from us and hasn't done any work ! My nephew has only spoken to him 3-4 times the whole year he has been his attorney. Poor excuse of a lawyer ! I am so mad we wasted money and time with him ! He only cares about his family and no one else's !!!! STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE NOT THE SAME COLOR AS HIM ! He will not be able f any assistance just take your money and never inform you of anything or try to help. He is a joke !
