I met one of the firm's attorneys, David Whaley at a training event. I believe he was the General Counsel for the company. Not only was Mr. Whaley extremely professional, he informed us of pertinent medical law and how it related to various clinical situations. I felt like they were going to represent me well,but after I paid them everything changed it's like they didn't want to represent me at all. My lawyer allowed the DA to dictate all the terms. The plea deal was a maxed out term of the initial charge. Was told it was maxed because of the injuries to the victim. How do you explain a person who pleaded to manslaughter 06/2023 getting 3 years in DOC at 85% and the other 7 years being suspended/ parole. I got 10 straight years none of it suspended. I thought death was worse that injuries.
