Don't waste your money!! I expected much stronger representation as she came highly recommended, but sadly her day in court, if you will, has passed. My husband's attorney ran circles around her, and she didn't seem to know what she was doing or what was going on and was very unorganized. Told me I was signing a six week order and come to find out, It was an indefinite order. His attorney even told the judge she, "does not do court this way", the judge responded "I don't either" and looked at Mrs. McGehee and then Mrs. McGehee looked at me like I knew what was going on.I paid her to know what was going on. Sadly, I can't recommend her because I felt poorly represented and when she downloaded messages from my phone to respond to the other lawyer's request she read my message to my friend and I was telling her the other lawyer ran circles around her, so she fired me And charged me for basically doing nothing.

I hired Theresa McGehee Law firm after firing another lawyer. I was facing felony domestic violence charges with maximum 3 years and 5000 dollar fine. It didn't look good for me at all. This was the best money I've ever spent. Theresa and her staff cares. They were always kind and went out of their way to help me. My court day was the bast day I had in a long time. No jail time, no felony no record. I owe her everything! Thanks McGehee law firm you guys rock.

The best attorney we have ever had! Truly fights for a father's rights and isn't scared to take the case!! Another attorney in Bryan county was too scared to go for the charges I wanted to go for so we contacted Theresa and she went for EVERYTHING we asked for and then some. She is worth every penny!

Theresa quoted us a price to have charges removed from our daughter's record - we paid her quoted price. The most important charge that needed to be removed was not removed. It was a charge from over 5 years ago. We called Theresa's office weekly to ask when her court date was going to be in order to have this charge removed. She never returned a phone call, was never available for an appointment, she made herself "never available". During the summer, I called her office or went by her office every week. Since she wouldn't return phone calls, we weren't able to make an appointment...I wrote her and left the written message with her secretary (I left several). We never heard anything in response. My daughter saw her in public and told Theresa that she needed to call her - Theresa didn't respond - she turned and started walking the other direction. My daughter died without this charge ever being removed. I left a voice mail for Theresa telling her that she wouldn't have to worry about us bothering her anymore because our beautiful daughter had died. I thought she was going to be a good attorney and do the right thing (especially since we paid her) and she did not.

I never write bad reviews - this might be the first I've written in my life. I paid her $4k to represent my father, then she did a couple of phone calls, could not gather any information, and then I received a letter of a court order signed by a judge that stated that she had dropped my father as a client and we should not contact her anymore. She never gave me any warning over the phone or a text message, or email. So she took our money, accomplished nothing, and then dropped us without warning. That feels more like a crime than legal representation to me. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else.
