It's extremely unfortunate that I have to even give one star in order to leave a review. I respect that in this field attorneys are busy and pulled in several different directions. However for over Five months I've attempted to reach and have any communication with him regarding a case that our treatment program and sober living home have and have had a bed saved for him. Not even ANY communication in regards to if that option was even on the table for him. I have been early and stayed late EVERY court date in order to speak with him and every time I'm told " I'll be right with you"Here I sit over an hour after client spoke to the judge and still I'm blown off. This is the most unprofessional man I've ever encountered. How can we make a difference in our community to help people turn their life around when those defending them refuse to communicate.

Does not investigate or review evidence, does not call or communicate, strictly favors the D.A and has ZERO interest in your favor at all. Will not show you anything involving your case, will not contact witnesses that favor you, will hang up on anybody that calls him on your behalf, will pretend you never asked for your right to a speedy trial. If you have a loved one represented by Mr. Wantland, I strongly advise seeking anybody else to take his place.

Spoke with him via phone. He was very unprofessional and rude. Giving me generic information without knowing who his client was. He was blaming the DA and ADA for everything. He then hung up on me and my 82 year old grandma on two separate occasions. Guy is a complete joke.

Didn't do a very good job defending my case going to prison soon

Timothy Wantland was my public defender in a felony case for Grand Larceny. After 7 court dates, I finally got to meet with him and he hadn't even read my case file, he is definitely not a professional when it comes to work.
