The last place you want to go is to a domestic attorney for that usually means things are not going the greatest in your life. I went to see Celina @ Manning & Clair because I was referred by a good friend and I knew he would recommend someone that could represent me to the best of their ability. I spoke with Celina and we prepared to obtain custody of my daughter. Our preparation was stellar and on point, the biggest problem we faced was a flawed system. I say this because after throwing in the towel the first attempt, which was based on not enough incriminating evidence, we attempted a second time. Which I may add the second attempt to gain custody seemed far more obvious than the first that I would win custody, but again our system had failed our valiant efforts. During one of the most difficult times in a father's life his attorney becomes more than representation, they become hope and somewhat of a friend when your are at your lowest. Celina provided me advise when my head was going in 10 different directions and occasionally emotionally distraught. Even though I did not gain custody, our efforts made a big enough ripple effect that things have turned 180deg and I am fully confident and at ease with where my daughter is and free of any danger I feel she may be in. I owe that to Celina and her compassion and professionalism. Without making an effort, there would be no positive impact, and for that I will be forever grateful.
