My mom was at The Laurels from June to the beginning of October 2025. She had been in hospitals and rehabs since 12/27/24 after a major surgery and several other health issues. I visited her 2-4 times a week and always felt welcome. I got to know some of the staff and residents who were all wonderful. The common rooms of the facility are very clean and well maintained. There were a few times I felt her bathroom needed some attention but if my mom said something it was cleaned again. If there were any issues they were taken care of in a timely manner.
They have family room that we used to celebrate her 85th birthday.
The Activities Department is phenomenal. There are several activities every day from bingo to blackjack, crafts, special events and you get prizes for some games. I can't say enough good things about this department.
PT and OT was wonderful providing the therapy she needed to get well enough to be discharged. The only complaint is that she could not use a walker outside of PT. I felt that it limited her mobility.
The food was okay. Some things were very good and others not so much. She always had the option of getting something else if she didn't like what was on the menu. The activities dept had some special days where they would get them pizza or Arby's which was exciting for the residents.
My mom made some very good friends who helped her stay better. She is already talking about coming back to visit and come to the community bingo the last Weds of every month.
She has stayed in a few different facilities and this one has been the best. She said that if she needs to go to a facility in the future she wants a I come back here.

So, I've never been in a nursing home facility until my aunt was sent to the Laurels. I just wanted to say, I've watched the staff run around in frenzies just to make sure they are caring for everyone. I've watched their only be one nurse working and still with a smile on their face and patience in their heart, they care and they work hard to make sure my aunt and everyone is taken care of. The facility smells clean and is bright when I walk into the main lobby. I would just say thank you to the staff for their compassion and hard work.

I have utilized nursing homes for my parents and in-laws. The laurels offers a friendly and in inviting atmosphere to both visitors and residents. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I have spoken to some of the residents and they claim it's not home but it's the next best thing. They have many activities and the food is very good. The laurels is also committed to the community offering breakfast and bingo once per month as well as other activities including halloween trunk and treats, a ice cream social and carnival cookout to name a few. I am extremely impressed with them and highly recommend this facility.

My Mom has been in this facility since 10/2023. The activities and certain aides are the ONLY reason I gave it a 2 star. My Mom is alert and oriented and they don't like when she reports a problem. They call her the hall monitor and smirk about it rather than fixing the problem. This place is THEIR HOME, if you have rules then they should be enforced to ALL of the rooms. If YOU lived in a HOA neighborhood and was told over and over you can't have this you can't do this but then you drive down the road and see your neighbors doing what you were but you got told about it. The issue will be pushed until fixed. Get these so called employees that check rooms out of the Office and on the floors EVERYDAY, NOT once a week. Is laundry being done, are showers being done, due to lack of towels and wash cloths these residents that pay over 4,000 a month to dry off with a pillow case or a cut up blanket, is ice being passed, these residents don't have their own freezrs to just get ice from. Other residents rely on employees to care for their unfortunate colostomy bags and when one of them says I don't know how to do that and leaves the room. My Mom don't deserve to be treated like a NARC, you need to do your job that these residents are paying for. And I should not have to keep up with her health issues and meds cause the Physicians there can't even put her on a proper antibiotic. And I give up asking cause I always get "I don't know"
Well obviously owners response is automatically inserted cause you did not read the review. She has made concerns and never get addressed. Just called names. I don't need to call anybody

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the team's outstanding support, which has greatly facilitated my mother's comfortable transition and residency over the past several months. I am also grateful for the assistance I have received in managing her medical and financial requirements. Moreover, I would like to specifically commend the staff's professionalism, particularly Rachel, for her exceptional responsiveness in addressing all of my inquiries and concerns.
