Ashtabula County Public Defend

My fiance and I have had a wonderful experience with the public defenders office. They have been in constant communication and have fought very hard for us. I am truly grateful and appreciative of their hard work and dedication. I know their jobs are not easy and I am so thankful for their help. I know I can fully count on them to fight for us in every way that they can. They have always taken time out of their busy days to speak with me when they didn't have to and I cannot thank them enough. I would highly recommend having them on your side. Words cannot describe my gratitude!! I was impressed with them from day one and they are very intelligent and amazing at their jobs. Thank you!!!

Place seems to do the very least needed while working at the hip with the city. Their goal seems to be plea bargains and not defending the innocent. If you have an ideas or evidence that you like to stick to as a focal point they will see you 5 min before court LOL

I'm in the middle of a criminal case that I did not commit and the people who are representing me did not get a hold of me to keep me know that my status hearing wad changed to a pretrial hearing I have no one subpoenad that I wanted and my trial is in four days I'm upset my rights are being violated and am sad I'm being treated unfairly my original public defender Marie lane was great I have two and they are not very helpful will wish me luck tomorrow I need it if my public defenders see this I want to know why I was blind sided adding to this I was a little wrong it really was not my public defenders fault they are great I found that its really the prosecutors that cannot do thier job in being more informative and acting irrational and out of control my public defenders all three that I have had for this case are absolutely awseome and helpful so if your worried don't they are really smart but I know thier swamped with cases so I'm sure it makes it hard sometimes to get a hold of you that's the only downside I see they fight for what's moraley and legally right

They "REALLY" do not like men and simply can't conceive of any man being innocent of all charges. 2 women trying to coerce a young husband to plea AFTER the prosecution agreed to dismiss everything. Some may believe that this office should be investigated.

No attorney is ever available to speak with anyone and the people who answer the phone and are at the front desk aren't really too concerned with what I needed and more less just dismissed me
