We had an issue with our mineral rights not being reserved when we sold a house in 2020. The lawyer that handled the closing said if the mineral rights were reserved on the purchase agreement that was all that was needed.In 2024 I found out the oil companies were leasing in the area of my property and when I called to lease, I was told that the minerals were not reserved on the deed.So after 6 months of trying to get this mess fixed I ended up finding out it would cost me more to try to get all the processes in the past, reversed.
