I had several ( about 7) cases in Columbus, and even one in Portsmouth that Dustin helped me get resolved. I was looking at a substantial amount of jail time. Dustin worked his magic in the courthouse, and at the last minute and got my cases transferred to another Judge. I ended up getting time served (only about 9 days) . Everything dismissed, closed, no fines, no probation! You can tell he is a professional and extremely respected in the courthouse. I am extremely grateful for his whole team and their help getting this chapter of my life closed. He truly is the best lawyer in the city! I reached out to this attorney back in January 2025 because of 2 different people referring me to him. At that time, he was inviting and helpful about my cases , which were 2 different specialties he focuses on. At the time, the money was the reason I couldn't start with him and he made it very clear that payment was needed even though I have a large settlement case I'm in the middle of right now. So, I struggled to get the down payment together to start representation with him and his assistance Jason had the audacity to pretty much insult me and dismiss my "efforts" in getting the down payment together and gives the worst reason as to why he can't represent me. He say's because it's been 7 months since we first spoke he couldn't take both my cases but he's the 1 made it about the money, even though I had proof the money was coming and secure. It's very clear he's only all about MONEY and not about helping people in need. I'm disabled and have no income due to my last car accident and my medical conditions and he knew this completely. The 2 people that referred me to him definitely made it seem as if he cared about helping people. It's clear as day he doesn't care about people as much as he cares about money. So, if you want an attorney that's compassionate and empathetic, Dustin Blake is not the one. They didn't even offer a referral for another attorney being that it was about the timing of communication. I had called a total of 6 times outside of our initial conversations on Facebook messenger. Completely disrespectful and very unprofessional to not even call back to even say what the reason was to not represent me. That's how you know it was and always has been about money.
