Very unethical horrible excuse of an attorney. Lies about not representing people.Then, shows up in court last minute trying to catch people up on technicalities, because they're not a good attorney. I caught this person stalking my social media They even sent me a friend request, told me to my face that they weren't representing a client then showed up last minute. Does not care about children or women Whatsoever and shows major disrespect. I'm literally representing myself and doing a better job than this guy. So do yourself a favor and pay anybody, but him.

if you actually want to have a chance of a decent schedule with your kids on holidays, and an attorney that actually calls you back, responds to any communication updates you on hearings or status of your case, and doesnt point blame at you for his own mistakes and failure to do his job... Find someone else cause James Barilla will do the opposite of what he claims he will do for you.

I am giving 5 stars only because I have such high regard for the individuals who referred me to this office. Unfortunately the fact I am broke "you dont have any money" from what this attorney said to me many times along with a harsh comment about the next time I deal with professionals I should be more prepared. This was even after I disclosed I have a rare and acute case of whats called MCPTSD in which he acknowledged but it did me no good to bring it up. But to answer your question sir regarding the "whats the golden goose in the end for me"... Ill tell you 1. Personally I never got the chance to mention but still feel it necessary to... I appreciate the Jerry Garcia tie. My deceased brother I told you of taught me well when it came to dressing up like that of a gentlemen. Have many of my own along with some given to me from his own collection after his passing. 2. James Barilla is one of the best lawyers my family has ever used. No matter how discouraging our case has appeared to be, James had the knowhow to bring out the facts and utilize the law to make things right. My wife's ex was determined to take her daughter away from her for over ten years out of spite against her. He has taken her to court multiple times for so many frivolous reasons. It took many court cases for the court to realize what her ex was trying to do. Every time in court, James shut him down and ultimately gained better circumstances for my wife. Fortunately James had the insight and experience to bring this to light in court, and finally get the court to see what was going on. James has our utmost respect as a lawyer and we will continue to use him for any type of legal issues we might have in the future. We highly recommend him to our family and friends.

James Barilla has been my lawyer for 5 years, he always checks in with the family and does his job thoroughly, if you want a great lawyer that even your ex refers people to then you know he does his job.
