After a nice experience, I experienced a mess. The realtor for my closing decided to give a credit to the buyer the morning of the closing for thousands of dollars more than we agreed upon. I was surprised it wasn't amended or brought to my attention by the attorney. I was using the services of Douglas Jones to close on the new property I was purchasing, there were issues that arose outside of the closing and when I went to retrieve the cashier's check, they had shredded it. That is not normal practice from experience.
