I cannot say enough good things about my attorney, Marissa Ramirez. We were able to settle the morning of our court date, but she prepared me thoroughly and guided me through every step leading up to it. Marissa always knew exactly what was going on with my case and was readily available whenever I needed her. And a huge shout-out to Wendy, her incredible paralegal. Together, this team truly showed up for me and my girls when it mattered most. I will forever be thankful. Before hiring Marissa, I hadn't heard much about her, but trusting her was one of the best decisions I've made. She may be small in stature, but she is an absolute shark in her approach and made sure I didn't become a pushover (personal flaw ). I couldn't recommend her more.

They will do as little as possible and bill as much as possible. We are a construction business, with a somewhat detailed contract I wrote myself. We had an issue with a customer not paying a $55k bill and in personally reviewing our self written contract, we believed litigation or arbitration may not be successful. I dealt with Michael Newman, with a request to review our contract. We did not even get as far as discussing the customer payment concern. The contract was edited with almost no changes by Michael's secretary. The only change she made was to pull out the arbitration clause as a paragraph on its own, as Michael mistakenly thought there was no arbitration clause. After discussing the contract by phone with Michael, with some questions, it became evident that he did not read the contract and was not familiar with its contents. When the final bill arrived, I asked his secretary whether he reviewed the contract? I got a reply from her that he deems it satisfactory and again got charged for the reply. During this process, we followed Michael's advice to change the company registration name, something we could have done ourselves for penny's in the Dollar. We did this in good faith though, with the hope that we could establish a relationship with their office should we need advice or assistance in future. Obviously that relationship was not established. We were fortunate to get our 55k, bill paid by the customer, however learnt through our own research that we probably would have lost the case, even with the contract as it has been reviewed. The relationship and busy time with Michael did not allow any time even to discuss this, neither do I believe he would have understood the issue, without finding the right answers at enormous costs. If someone reads this and knows an attorney who we can connect with properly, to understand our business and offer a service when needed, please post up here. It seems a difficult resource to find.

They genuinely care and not just say it and it shows not just through words but through actions. Whitney in a span of about 2-3 weeks learned and almost memorized everything to do with my life regarding my situation all while have all her other clients. Her intelligence can be intimidating but in a good way if she is on your side. During the hearing nothing was missed and she even went as far as to ensure that I had peace of mind before finishing with her examination. This level of professionalism should be the standard but unfortunately isn't. Heather is on top of everything and not a single task is dropped, her attention to detail is superb. Jessie is without a shadow of a doubt the heart of all this and she has a way of helping to keep someone calm and centered so that peace finally can prevail through an already difficult process. I have a level of confidence that I didn't before after I hired them and their performance continues to build it. My thanks and gratitude to them. If you want a legal team that is plain and simple what you would expect and more and knows their stuff.
