An employment contract that states results not guaranteed should have been a big red flag for me, however my siblings wanted me to retain him because he was supposed to have my brother's will on file. As far as I am aware, his office has yet to find that document. In the state of NC, as long as one party is aware of a telephone conversation being recorded, it is legal (one party consent.) I acted as executrix of my brother's estate and made it a point to record the conversations I had with Mr Lecroy so I could share the information he gave me with my siblings (beneficiaries of the will.) I was assured that one particular situation concerning an estate complication had been resolved in favor of my siblings and myself, which turned out to be untrue. I ended up having to hire another attorney to assist me in completing my duty as executrix after I had already paid Mr Lecroy $5,000. I would not recommend retaining this firm unless you just want to throw your money away.

Rude and unaccommodating. I contacted this firm ~15Nov and asked for a consult, as I had estate matters that I was seeking representation on. They scheduled me for 11AM two weeks out and told me it'd be $100 for the consultation. They call me the morning of the appointment at 10AM and cancel. I told the woman on the phone that wasn't ok to cancel last minute like that (as I had taken the morning off work to be able to attend this consult) & I then asked for the first available appointment and indicated that I had matters that I needed attended to ASAP. Their aide then offered up 12/17 as the next available time. I indicated to her that that was unacceptable and that I'd have to find another firm to represent me if that was the best they could offer. Before suggesting any 0ther option, solutions, or any other conversation at all; she hung up. The first time I called, I spoke with Ms. Kirksey. I don't believe this was the same person that I spoke with initially. Either way, I don't believe calling to cancel an appointment last minute and being rude to a potential client is at all proper and it surely wasn't appreciated.

Mr.Lecroy is a really good attorney. He is dedicated to doing the very best job possible for his clients. He knows his way around a court room too. I would recommend him to anyone needing a great custody attorney. He is a good man and a great lawyer. I would have been lost without his help.

I needed some legal advice regarding monetary Information. Not Only was he kind enough to schedule a Appointment on the fly he wouldn't let me pay Him . How many attorneys won't take your money ? He didn't think the questions took a long enough time. This gentleman is obviously a very Stand Up individual & I would highly Recommend him.
