We met Attorney Clark after strong referrals from administrators at Appalachian State. We needed an attorney to help with the legal quagmire of settling our deceased mother's estate. (There is nothing worse than the state of NC piling legal issues on top of grieving by surviving children). Thankfully Attorney Clark eased our frustration with clear communication, the highest level of competence and above all, compassion for the process. Now we have a clear strategy for moving forward with the estate, and we have back-up help when we need it. I will agree with the strong referrals we received, and suggest Clark & Clark receive our highest recommendation with any reservation.

Sharon went above and beyond during the busy holiday season to accommodate my closing by doing the closing on a day they don't normally do closings. I wasn't charged extra for it and she was warm, personable, and responsive to every email I sent. I will use them for any future needs.

My partner and I meet with Angie Clark. She was fantastic she answered all our questions and told us step by step what we needed to do. She is very friendly, helpful, and definitely a professional. I went for a $200 consultation with Heather Hennessee about a guardianship of estate case. It was very clear that Heather was disorganized and not knowledgeable in guardianship of estate (the firm claims they help with these cases and scheduled me with Heather.) First of all, it took her 7 weeks to get back to me about the information she was going to gather -(she had given her word she would get back to me within 7days.) After Heather did finally call me, she apologized and told me she had scheduled a meeting and would get back to me the same day. That of course, did not happen. It was not until after the work day on Friday afternoon that I receive a very unclear email about why she couldn't take my case. I don't mind that she couldn't take the case. I do mind her extreme unprofessionalism and complete lack of knowledge in a very simple manner. Please do not waste your money on a lawyer who I can confidently say, does not know how to do her job.

My older sister first engaged Ms. Clark to prepare her will. When my sister's eyesight failed and other disabilities occurred it was Ms. Clark that encouraged her to prepare a medical power of attorney ...a crucial document as her disabilities became worse.. After her death I engaged Ms. Clark to help me as the Executrix to carry out my sister's wishes as described in her will. Ms. Clark was kind, thorough, and always available when I called or needed answers to questions. She was extremely careful in all documentation with the Court as well as the designated beneficiaries under the will. Her staff member that I dealt with, Jeanette, was also very knowledgeable and professional. Ms. Clark's knowledge exceeded estate-related questions; she was helpful in such areas as tax matters, and helped me find other needed estate services.
