Leah is one of the most intelligent attorneys I know. She has a unique combination that you don't see often in our profession - she's definitely book smart, and she's also practical and people-smart. I do not know who wrote the bad reviews using the initial C and the initial D. But that is lander and illegal to use somebody's information and write the bad review on somebody who doesn't serve it. She is an awesome attorney and represents her clients with integrity and honesty. Delays do happen in general. Specifically when The Covid restrictions were upon all of us. Thank God that is over. However, she did help my wife finalize the Bad marriage she was in. Thanks to her , my wife Diana and I have been happily married for 5 years. I highly recommend her and her staff. I retained Leah for my divorce and custody proceedings. Living out of state it was extremely difficult to communicate with her. Several missed calls with excuses of "unexpected deaths", to unexpected "illness" seemed to be the common responses from her secretary. Every case before the judge was granted to the other party to include custody. Leah is quite convincing and took my money fast but wasn't worth a quarter of it. Very unfortunate I'm having to retain another attorney that is competent. She's quick to take your money and promise the world. I lost custody of my child and haven't seen her in months thanks to Leah. Please quit and stop stealing people's hard earned money!

Leah is an awful attorney. She represented a family member of mine and almost had him placed in contempt because she "forgot" to send the checks to opposing counsel. It has now been over a month since she received her payment and she has yet to file the needed paperwork to close the case. I would highly recommend finding a different attorney to anyone considering using Leah Austin!

My experience with her was nothing short of nothing. She said a lot of things but did nothing. I since have lost the opportunity to get reimbursed for money paid out due to a German Shepard attack on my little 15# dog plus a small finger cut which still has no feeling after a year. I would pay the money out again in a heartbeat because we were able to save her life with surgery. Physically she's doing fine. I should have listened to the reviews when I looked them up but I gave her the benefit of the doubt hoping it was just unfortunate circumstances. I won't make that mistake again. If I could, I'd sue her for not doing what she said she would do, but to me, she's not worth it. It was my choice to give her the chance and I've learned my lesson so this ends my dealings with any attorney if possible. I still have my four legged baby and that's what matters most.
