I hired Eric for a speeding ticket. He explained the process to me thoroughly. He got the improper equipment for me. He said this was no insurance points and no license points. Sounds unbelievable, but I contacted my insurance company and they said it was true. I was impressed with his work! I will be using him again! Thanks for everything!

Updated: The attorney is finally texted me back and let me know he got another court date for me,. I found out he got my case resolved when I received the "resolved confirm email" from his office with the court link to pay for my fee. I had to pay extra $50.00 for late payment. I still appreciate him that he did not lose my file this time and got me out without points. However, his office customers need to improve for customer communication. His office staff never did give me a call back (I left lots of voicemails messages asking them to give me a call back about my case). So I rate it to 2 star I hired him for my speeding ticket, and he missed my court date in this past July . I called him after receiving a letter from NC driving division saying that I was failure to appear in court and I will lose my driver license and may be in jail if I don't solve the problem before this November coming. I called and told him about the letter , and he said that my file was missing on that day. He said that he is going to fix the problem. I don't want he miss again this time because I didn't want to lose my driver license, extra penalty money, and points on my record, so I have been called and texted to follow up my case. He has not answered either my text messages nor my phone calls. I called his office and left messages multiple times.I have not received even a call back from them,, and it has been almost 2 weeks already. Back in May when I called to hire him , he and his staffs picked up immediately and got my money right away, and then failed to do the job and trust that I gave them . Now he and his staffs ignored my phone calls and messages. I don't think they even deserve to have even 1 star. But without hit 1 star button. This review would not be completed and post public

Mr . Skager appears to be a nice person , but he is not an honest person . Let me tell you why I say that based on my experience in dealing with him . In Jan 2018 , I had a minor traffic violation - exceeding safe speed . In addition , I have no traffic violations over the past 7+ years , and I am over 70 years old . Because of these facts , Mr Skager lead me to believe that he would get my case dismissed , or , at the very worst , get a warning issued . It was my understanding that he was going to do one or the other , resulting in no fines or court costs . That is what he told me he would do . He handled my case yesterday and I was told that he reduced my charge to improper equipment and that I would have to pay court costs and fines totaling $258.00 . I work more than 65 hours a week at 2 jobs in order to make ends meet . The last thing I needed was a totally unnecessary $258 bill . If Mr Skager had been honest with me and had done his job properly , I would not have had to pay anything . In short , he totally screwed me over , and I don't appreciate it .

Eric made handling my speeding ticket easy. I am from Statesville and was traveling through High Point on the way to the beach. Unfortunately I was running too fast and got popped in High Point. Not knowing any lawyers from the area I waited to get letters from the area. Eric sent one and after emailing him my ticket and credit card info he took it from there. He was able to get the whole thing dismissed. Thanks Eric!!
